| Personal History | As a boy in Colorado, John enjoyed the open spaces of his parents home and not being around too many people. He had a fascination with weapons, how they worked, what they did, what he could do to improve them and defend against them. He began martial arts at a young age, and grew a particular interest in Klingon Weaponry, specifically the swords and blades of the Empire. As he grew older, he also learned to take charge and teach himself most of what he believed he needed to know. This ambition and drive led him to Starfleet Academy, where he applied and was Accepted.. He excelled in his courses at the academy, no genius for sure but he was smart, almost devilishly so. He ended up selecting the security/tactical track due to his Fascination with weapons as a child. His father, Malcolm, Died shortly before his graduation of Starfleet Academy. Malcolm had advnaced Irumodic Syndrome and it caught up to him a lot quicker than expected. His father's death had only pushed him to be more successful. After Graduation, he was assigned to the USS Hotspur, where he served as a security officer for two years, before being promoted up to tactical officerwhere he'd be for the next year. He was then transferred after the Hotspurs Decommissioning, spending some time aboard the USS Firefly, assuming the role of Assistant Chief Security/Tactical officer, where he spent another three years before being promoted to Chief Security/Tactical Officer. The USS Firefly was then destroyed while on patrol, and Scott didn't take it well, he had blamed himself for the Firefly's destruction and had never fully got over the incident, but managed to put on that same smile ha always has and push forward, for the last year, he has been stationed aboard Starbase 135, awaiting reassignment. | |
